Issue: Takes too much to print out.
It is a very worse situation when you have a printer but takes a long time to print out the project. You may not be able to reach the goal of the Company. Delay in printing may be because of resolution settings, memory depletion issue and most likely, the reason can be a Printer driver itself.
Photos of high resolution have too much information for the computer and printer to work on. It can lead to slow printing at times. If you don’t need the best quality, then go for the option draft, normal or standard mode for official documents. If you have to go for presentations, then you should change the settings back to high quality. If you have too many images to be printed out on regular basis, then go for the extension of the memory. Mostly use one-sided printing which can save sometimes rather than with double-sided printing.
The Printers driver usually decides the speed too. Most Advanced laser and some inkjet printers come with an option of including PostScript, PCL and/or the manufacturer’s host-based printer driver. So, generally, PCL is so far good for official Printouts and PostScript is considered better for the applications which are made for Graphics.
